The ‘no mask, no service’ policy will be strictly enforced after the ongoing lockdown ends, says the state minister for public administration
The nationwide lockdown, enforced to curb the surging numbers of Covid-19 infections and deaths in Bangladesh, will not be extended past April 28, State Minister for Public Administration Farhad Hossain has said.
He further said the “no mask, no service” policy would be strictly enforced across the country, according to The Business Standard.
Earlier on Friday, the government allowed shops and malls to reopen, following the health safety rules for Covid-19, from Sunday.
The ongoing strict lockdown was first enforced countrywide for eight days, starting on April 14. Later, it was extended till April 28.
