Bangladesh Cricket Board has received eight EOIs (Expression of Interest) for the forthcoming edition of the Bangladesh Premier League T20.
BCB last week had invited EOI from reputed business houses for ownership rights of six franchises for the BPL.
“We have received eight interests (EOI) for the upcoming BPL. Now we will evaluate the applicants,” said BCB president Nazmul Hasan to the media Monday.
The eighth edition of the BPL will be a special edition to mark the birth anniversary of the Father of the Nation, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
The BPL governing council following the season will review the teams and revise the regulations, if required, before awarding long-term rights to the same team owners.
